Now I've become Infatuated with Paper Clip Pockets

After yesterday's post about paper clip pockets, I decided to make a bunch of them to include in Happy Mail packages in the future.  So....I made a dozen more to get me started.  I only added beads to the first one, as when I mail them, there will not be beads (too bulky and fragile to mail in a basic envelope).  the recipient will be free to customize the pocket as desired.   I've told myself I really need more tickets again, so tomorrow I will go back to them again.

More Paper Clip Stuff and cleaning my Table

I'm seemingly still on a paper clip binge; creating lots of stuff with paper clips has become something of an obsession.   Some time ago, I saw a YouTube video by Ceri the Crafter making paper clip pockets.  Today, I decided to give it a try.  Here are the pockets, along with photos of the two-sided tags I collaged to fit into the pockets.  This used a LOT of the bits and pieces of paper that was covering my worktable. And it was fun.  The photos are of family ancestors.

A Card for Memorial Day

One of the FB groups I am a member of has a weekly contest.  This week, the challenge was to create a card using a provided template.  Here is my entry.

How to Make Hidden Paper Clips

I've created a video on how to make hidden paper clips.  I've shown you many of these in previous posts, and many have asked for instructions.  Here is a brief tutorial:

The Book of Quotes

I've finally been able to finish the first volume of The Book of Quotes. Of course, volume 2 is in the works and will be for a while. This book consists of about 70 quotes, each on a customized 4x8 inch tag. I started these probably 10 years ago (and always as a background project without any rush to complete them) so, yes, I'm glad to see this volume complete. I hope you enjoy them. Here's the link:

Pillbox 3, a New YouTube Video

I've uploaded Pillbox 3, a new video flip through of a junk/art journal, to my YouTube channel.  As usual, music in the background and no speech.  I hope you'll like it.

How Does This Happen?

I've again run short on tickets to enclose as ephemera in my journals.  This latest batch is destined for my new "out for a walk in the woods" style journal.  So after knocking out all those paper clips, I had a little time and energy left and did these 28 tickets.  As they are used, they will be cut/torn into individual tickets, I just make then in groups of 4 for my ease of organizing them.  These beautiful focal images are from Tracie Fox on ETSY.  The background psper is tea-dyed.   Enjoy.

Paper Clips and More Paper clips

I've gone overboard with paper clips.  First, a group I made a couple of days ago, from assorted scraps of paper I had on my desk.  These are destined to be sent to various crafters in little packages of Happy Mail.  Then, today, I did 10 magnetic clips.  Here are scans of all these paperclips.

Another Video: Pillbox1

I've uploaded another video to YouTube:  Pillbox1.   It's another junk journal/art journal with a musical background and no speech.  This one is about 14 minutes long.  Here's the link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEzsNaYW5Wk&t=638s

I've uploaded a video: Pillbox2

I've uploaded a YouTube video called Pillbox2 to my YouTube channel.  It is about 17 minutes long and is a flip through of a recent junk journal.  There is a musical background, but no speech.  Here's the link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asO6zw-oj2o&t=12s
